Some believe minimum wage laws should be abolished. Which of course would reinstate slavery. That is not to say that we are not already considered slaves in their eyes. I have not interviewed any of them, however I am confident that if I had, I would find it is the rich, wealthy and well to do whom are in favor of this abolition of minimum wage laws. I will put words in their mouths in all the following quotes. As I have said, "I did not interview them". I would not expect them to be honest anyway.
I would ask, "Why abolish minimum wage?" Answer, "Well, ahem, well, minimum wage takes away the incentive to work hard." What they are thinking is, "That means I could pay less. More for me. I want slaves!" Us, "I see. So. You don't have enough?" Them "Well, ahem, well I built this." Us, "Yes you did." Our sense of truth is insulted. And though it is early in the interview. And to early to probe. We continue, Yes you did build this. You built a society based on greed, selfishness, pride, corruption and even hate. Yes you did sir. You built a society based on cut throat competition, disrespect and self interest."
Next question, "Do the workers whom provide you with the ability to enjoy your lavish lifestyle deserve to be recognized?" Them, "Well ahem well...ahem if they helped me. Us, "Please elaborate." Them, Well, um, it's my money. To quote Roger Waters, "Keep your hands off of my stack." Us, "Very good sir. You missed the point of the song, but it is a beginning. Listen to the song repeatedly. If you need explanation after anther thousand hearings call me. I will help you again by explaining it to you. There will be no financial gain in it for you." Them, Why then should I listen?"
Next question. Sir, what is the fighting all about?" Him, That's easy. They want what I have." Me, Then your stuff is worth the violence?"
Last question. "Sir, who the fuck are you?"
